Mothering Affirmations

I have been trying to figure out how I can use Twitter to promote Australian Mums. The forums are about connecting and supporting Mums (also the theme of this blog)

On Facebook we post daily questions to encourage conversation amongst the members, but Twitter does not work that way. Twitter is more about bringing attention to your tweets through retweets and replies seen only by followers of the replier (still following?). I want to steer clear of using controversy to promote conversation, the Australian Mum Forums are about connecting and supporting Mums. It is important to me that this is a safe place, not one full of arguing.

So http://www.twitter.com/AussieMums will now be posting regular Mothering Affirmations. Here are a few:
